A stay at home mother to three beautiful children, wife and revert to Islam. British born and raised (In Kent/London) currently residing in Birmingham, West Midlands.
I'm of white British background and have Italian and Greek grandparents on my fathers side. My husband is half Trinidadian.
I studied in Graphic Design at London College of Communication and have always had a keen eye for design and a passion for creativity.
However, after becoming a wife and mother, I started to reach that mundaine point in my life where I wasn't earning my own keep, which I was very much used to and felt although, I am totally blessed with a loving, supportive family, Alhamdulillah. I'd felt like I had lost a part of me because i'd lost touch with any hobbies or personal time to myself that I might of once had, and wanted to do something about it.
After a lot of different ideas and procrastinating, around the time I'd had my second child. I realised at the time, there was a niche in the market for Islamic dolls and cute faceless dolls for Muslim children. This made me aspire to create not just for my own children but for every Muslim home in the UK and overseas.
With the help, support and encouragement from my dear friend and loving husband, I decided to make it my mission to create my very own dolls, starting with the plush cushion design, and that's how Mini Muslimah was formed.
I pray Allah blesses my intentions and continues to make the business grow and become successful and pleasing to him first and foremost and to spread unity in the ummah with my dolls. Sharing the diversity of Islam that we face today in this beautiful expanding religion.
